The resurrection of Jesus
Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Romans 4:25 (KJV)
The story does not end at a tomb. On the third day Jesus rose, exactly as the scriptures said. He was seen alive by Peter, by the twelve, and by more than five hundred people at one time.
The resurrection is God's public answer to the cross. Jesus was delivered for our offences and raised again for our justification. The debt was paid, and the empty tomb is the receipt. Because He lives, we can be declared righteous before God.
This is why our message is alive. We are not pointing people to a dead teacher. We are introducing them to a living Lord who saves today.
Say it simply
Jesus rose from the dead on the third day. He is alive, and He can save you today.
