About WordUp Today
A platform designed to partner with you in developing a culture of devotional prayer, Bible study and soul winning.
We believe the Word of God’s grace is able to build believers up and establish them in their inheritance in Christ.
Our desire is to make the Word accessible, understandable and practical while keeping the Gospel of Jesus Christ at the centre of everything we do.
Through our devotionals, we encourage believers to grow in their understanding of God’s Word and develop a consistent life of prayer.
Through our soul-winning resources, we equip believers to understand and communicate the Gospel because the message that changed our lives is a message the world needs to hear.
WordUp Today is an initiative of The Hosts Church, a growing Christian assembly in Abeokuta, Nigeria, committed to prayer, the accurate teaching of God’s Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Our mission
God has a Word for everybody, and it begins with the Gospel.
Everyone needs salvation.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Romans 5:12 (KJV)Salvation is God’s gift to man.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Romans 10:9 (KJV)The Gospel must be believed and made known.
Our message is centred on the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
